On two different city tours - YELLOW and PURPLE - a total of 30 stops are served on the hop-on-hop-off principle. The stops are all very close to the main attractions. On the YELLOW city tour you will get to know the most important sights of Berlin from our double-decker convertible bus. The PURPLE route will take you to the exciting history of East Berlin and the WALL.
Starting from the Kurfürstendamm you pass the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche, the Europa-Center and the KaDeWe luxury department store in the direction of Berlin's center. Via the Potsdamer Platz to the former border crossing at Checkpoint Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt to Alexanderplatz and the museum island with the Berlin Cathedral. On the Prachtstraße Unter den Linden it goes past the Brandenburg Gate and the Regierungsviertel over the 17th of June back in the direction of West. Finally, a short stop at Charlottenburg Palace before returning to the starting point - the Kurfürstendamm.
From the Alexanderplatz square, walk through the Spandauer Vorstadt, the Jewish Quarter (Hackescher Markt and Oranienburger Straße), the Synagogue, the main railway station, the Hamburger Bahnhof, the former Berlin Wall, the Invalidenstraße border crossing, the Naturkundemuseum, The East Side Gallery of the Jewish Museum.
The navigation continues through the Reichstag and through the new government quarter to the "House of World Cultures", the Luther Bridge, Bellevue Palace, the "Schlangen", the Siegessäule, the Hauptbahnhof, the Berlin Cathedral, the Museumsinsel and the Nikolaiviertel.
